Make an Appointment

Patients are seen by appointment – on the same day the appointment is made if possible. To schedule an appointment, please call (361) 857-2900 during regular business hours.

Please call in advance for office visits. Make follow-up appointments as you leave. We make every effort to stay on schedule although emergencies do arise. If we are seriously delayed, we attempt to notify patients beforehand.

Phone Messages

Phone messages to the nurse after 4:00pm Monday through Thursday and after 11:00am Fridays, will be answered the following business day. Any messages received before that time will be answered the same day. Please do not leave duplicate messages as this will delay our response.

New Patients

New patients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. You can download, print, and complete the forms prior to your appointment. Please bring the completed forms, a list of all medications you are currently taking, recent copies of x-rays, lab results and your insurance card to your appointment.

Billing

We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards.

Insurance

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

We recommend that you call your insurance company to verify that we participate with your plan.

Please notify us if you have any change in your name, phone number, address, or insurance as soon as it occurs. And please be prepared to present your insurance card at every visit.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise.

Prescriptions

All prescriptions and refill requests should be addressed with your physician at the time of your visit. Should you require a refill outside of a visit, please contact your pharmacy 2 to 3 days prior to your prescription expiring and have them fax a request to our office at (361) 857-8321. All requests will be processed within 48 hours. We are unable to call refills to mail order pharmacies but we will be happy to mail your prescription(s) to you or you may obtain your written prescription(s) at our office. Anybody picking up samples of medication must either be the patient or authorized on the patient’s HIPPA form. Samples will not be given to anyone that is not authorized by the patient.

We are happy to help with refill requests during regular office hours, so please call us at (361) 857-2900 to let us know what you need.

Laboratory Testing

As a service to our patients we have a laboratory in our office. It is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm (closed for lunch 12:30pm to 1:40pm) and Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm.

After-Hours & Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911. However, if you need after-hours advice for a medical concern, please call (361) 857-2900 and our answering service will assist you.
